Recovery isn't a step-by-step process but one based on continual growth, occasional setbacks and learning from experience.- APA
Mental health is always looked upon from a bio-psycho-social perspective.
It involves an interplay between your genes, your personality, your environment, interaction with the people around you; which changes in different situations affecting your recovery.
It's important to normalise recovery being non linear and it's pace being subjective to each individual.
